Bea's Bio
As a
veteran performer on the Boise stage, Bea has been acting up -
and singing - for about 45 years. She learned backstage tech
at an early age from her mother, but, like the men in her
life, has a preference for those hot lights. From opera to
TV/movies and drama, some of her more memorable roles
include: Mame, Molly Brown, Lucy-You’re a Good Man,
Charlie Brown, Eleanor-Lion in Winter, Mother-Amahl
and the Night Visitors, Alice-A...My Name is
Alice
and of course her personal favorite, The Princess Puffer-The
Mystery of Edwin Drood. As a member of the KED Repertory
Company, she "fills in" where she can. More recently, she
appeared with KED as Desiree in A Little Night Music
and the controlling Reverend Mother in Nunsense I and II
(both roles landing her best actress awards). This past year,
Bea enjoyed cavorting on stage with her dad, Gordon Eichmann,
as his wife, Ida Straus in Titanic. Bea will fill the
role of Golde in Fiddler on the Roof this year (the
FIRST time she did this show, most KED players weren’t even
born yet) and of course, the “Rev” in Nuncrackers at
Christmas. She loves KED and will always consider it the
premier musical theatre of Idaho! (Oh, and if you want an
opinion on anything, just ask her…)
